Whitestone Shipbrokers Ghana Limited, in partnership with the West Africa School of Shipping, successfully hosted a two-day training programme on “International Trade Cycle: The Sale, Finance, Carriage, Insurance & Its Associated Risks” from 25th to 26th June 2024 at the Airport West Hotel, Accra.

Training Overview

Participants from various esteemed organisations—including Donewell Insurance, Olam Cocoa Processing Ltd, ENSafrica Ghana, and CN Terminal Co. Ltd—took part in the comprehensive training.

• Insurance of Goods in Transit

• Risks in International Trade and Risk Mitigation

• Methods of Payment and Associated Risks

• Fraud Risks in Trade Finance

The training featured interactive sessions, multimedia presentations, practical problem-solving scenarios, and formative assessments to reinforce learning outcomes.

At the end of the programme, all participants received certificates of participation and branded souvenirs.
